Innovation in Fluorine | Successful Holding of Opening Ceremony of Green Fluorine Chemical Project (Phase II) of Sanming Hexafluo

On September 12, 2023, Sanming Hexafluo Chemicals Co., Ltd.("Sanming Hexafluo" or "the Company"), a key member of Shenzhen Capchem Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Capchem"), held a grand opening of "Green Fluorine Chemical Project (Phase II)" ("the Project") in Mingxi County, Fujian Province.

A total of more than 50 distinguished guests, including Mr. Li Yun, Former Deputy Director of Fujian Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology; Mr. Zhong Ke, the Sey Comcretary of Mingxi Countmittee of the CPC; Mr. Chen Huawei, County Mayor of Mingxi County, and leaders from various governmental departments, customer representatives, supplier representatives and construction unit representatives, gathered at the ceremony scene, jointly witnessing new historical moment and new journey of Sanming Hexafluo.

Mr. Xie Weidong, General Manager of Sanming Hexafluo, introduced the construction background and basic information of the Project, and expressed his heartfelt thanks to the leaders and partners at various levels for their sustained interest and support to the construction of the Project. He further stated that the Company would take today as a new start to make further brilliant achievements, pursue the mission of "To Create Better Future with Fluorine Chemicals and Fluorine Materials", and spare continuous efforts to contribute strength to the economic development of Mingxi County.

Mr. Qin Jiusan, Chairman of Capchem, said that the Project is a major initiative for the development of the Organic Fluorine Chemicals Division, and also a corollary of comprehensive industrial layout of the Company focusing on the customers and markets. The Organic Fluorine Chemicals Division has been always adhering to serving customers, stepping up efforts to provide partners with higher quality, greener and more environmentally friendly products in more categories, and contributing to the common development of the fluorinated fine chemicals industry cluster in Fujian Province and Sanming City.

Mr. Zhong Ke, the Secretary of Mingxi County Committee of the CPC, expressed his best wishes and expectations for the opening of the Project, and stated that the People’s Government of Mingxi County would make continuous efforts to build a sound business environment, formulate preferential enterprise policies and provide good supporting services, supporting further development of Hexafluo.

The Project is a key project of Fujian province, Sanming City and Mingxi County, covering an area of 57,000 square meters with a total investment of 525 million Yuan(RMB). After archiving the given capacity, the Project will have an annual output of 12,000 tons of fluorinated fine chemicals (excluding intermediates) and 30,000 tons of electrolytes for lithium-ion batteries, with an added output value of more than 2 billion Yuan(RMB).
